About Dr. Sandy

Sandy Shulca, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Hey there! I’m Dr. Sandy Shulca, PT, DPT — but feel free to call me Dr. Sandy.

I’m a travel physical therapist treating a wide variety of conditions across California and the East Coast in hospitals, outpatient clinics, workers’ compensation clinics, and home health. Working in multiple settings has helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of movement, pain, recovery, and rehabilitation from many different perspectives.

While I treat many orthopedic and neurological conditions as a travel PT, my true specialty and passion is helping men and women better understand pelvic health dysfunction and jaw (TMJ/TMD) dysfunction through evidence-based education, movement, pain science, and nervous system-focused strategies.

Through YouTube videos, educational content, free guides, and upcoming online programs, my goal is to help people better understand their body and regain confidence, comfort, movement, and control naturally.

I currently offer free pelvic health and jaw dysfunction guides and am also building self-guided online courses, including a program specifically designed for men dealing with pelvic dysfunction, pelvic pain, pressure, tightness, bladder concerns, and performance-related symptoms.

Outside of online education, I also host free community wellness events in Alameda, California from June through October, including Alameda Stretch Squad and community Walk & Talks — designed to bring people together through movement, stress relief, posture, mobility, and connection in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
